Our Mission
The mission of The Upper Room is to cultivate a multigenerational community wholly devoted to prayer, devotion, and the study of God’s Word, so that Christ may be fully formed in us (Galatians4:19). Rooted in the example of the early church, we “devote ourselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts2:42), equipping men, women, and students to live out their faith daily in their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities. Through intentional discipleship, authentic fellowship, and Spirit-filled living, we seek to build up the body of Christ “until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians4:13).
